  • October 9, 2010 2:41 am EDT

COLUMBUS — Mount Vernon graduate Russell Doup will be dressed and on the sidelines for today’s Ohio State football game against Indiana.

Doup is a walk-on kicker for the Buckeyes and this will be his first time dressing for a game. He has been practicing with the team since school started on Sept. 21.

Doup is a redshirt freshman and is not expected to play.

Doup, the son of Kelly and Alice Doup of Mount Vernon, will be wearing No. 20 for the Buckeyes. The game will be broadcast on ESPN at Noon on Saturday.
