  • Redskins outrun pesky Bulldogs

  • December 3, 2010 10:49 am EST

HOWARD — At the start of the season, Utica girls basketball head coach Michelle Snow said her team will have to rely on speed to win games.

On Thursday, the Redskins showed they were a step faster than East Knox, downing the home team, 48-43, in Mid-Buckeye Conference action.

“We stuck to our game plan, to get out there and run with them. I think we did a nice job,” Snow said.

East Knox uses a similar game plan. They like to run the ball as well, which led to a very fast-paced, up-tempo game with a lot of shot attempts.
