MOUNT VERNON — The Mount Vernon Yellow Jackets girls basketball games scheduled for tonight at Marion Harding have been postponed.

The school announced this morning that bad weather forced the move.

The games are now scheduled for Saturday, with tip-off time for the junior varsity game at noon. The varsity game will be immediately following the game.

As of press time, there has been no word on other cancellations and postponements in the Knox County area.

Fredericktown is tentatively scheduled to host Northridge in boys’ basketball. Centerburg is scheduled to host Newark Catholic.

The Fredericktown girls team is scheduled to travel to Clear Fork tonight. Utica is scheduled to host River View.

Mount Vernon Nazarene University was to leave today for a pair of games at Wilberforce.
