COLUMBUS — For the third consecutive day, three Central District semifinal games were rained out.

Centerburg’s game against Heath, originally scheduled for Olentangy High School, has been moved to Dublin Jerome. That game will start today at 2 p.m.

Utica’s game against Bloom-Carroll has moved to today at 2 p.m. The site has yet to be determined.

Fredericktown held a 3-0 lead on Columbus Academy when that game was suspended in the middle of the second inning, with the Freddies preparing to come to bat. Matt Smith scored the first run on an RBI single by Jordan Radel. Justin Snyder then cracked a two-run home run.

The game will resume today at 5 p.m. The new site still has yet to be determined.

District finals have been pushed back to Saturday. Should the Trojans win, they would face the Johnstown/ Liberty Union game at 11 a.m. at Dublin Coffman High School. Utica and Fredericktown would play there at 2 p.m.
