LEWIS CENTER — Every baseball game should come down to this.

In the bottom of the seventh with two outs, Fredericktown was down by one with a man on third, and the team’s best hitter at the plate.

Alas, it wasn’t meant to be for the Freddies, whose season came to an end when Matt Smith struck out looking, and the team lost to Columbus Academy, 8-7, in the district semifinals at Olentangy High School.
