BELLVILLE — The Mid-Buckeye Conference took time out to honor their own on Monday night.

The MBC 2011 Spring Awards Banquet, held at Troyer’s Amish Restaurant in Bellville, featured a pair of major award winners from Utica. Pitcher Jeremy Jenkins was honored as Player of the Year and his coach, Bren Henderson received Coach of the Year honors.

East Knox, meanwhile, picked up a pair of awards, as Dakota Anderson was named MBC Runner of the Year and track coach Jason Ewalt was chosen as the Track Coach of the Year.
