JOHNSTOWN — The game of golf can drive a player batty. Day to day, hole to hole, swing to swing, things can change in a hurry, going from good to bad or vice versa.
Both the Centerburg and Utica golf teams found that out Wednesday.
Both teams shot well Tuesday, as the Trojans won the East Knox Invitational, while Utica finished fourth. On Wednesday, it was a different story. Centerburg shot a 350 as a team to finish fifth, while the Redskins were one shot behind and both watched as Licking Valley won the Utica Invitational at The Links at Echo Springs. The Panthers shot a 335 to win, followed by Licking Heights (346) and Johnstown (346), Heath (347) and then the Trojans and Redskins. River View fired a 363 as a team.
