UTICA — The Utica football team has dealt with a lot of adversity for just two games this year. The Redskins have lost several players to injury, had some suspended and lost both their games so far this year.

The Redskins will try to get things going in the right direction Friday when they host their nemesis — the Heath Bulldogs — at 7:30 p.m.

“We’ve got to regroup, get our focus up and pull together,” said Utica coach Randy Felumlee. “It’s time to circle up and pull together. That’s what we need to do.”

The Redskins (0-2) lost three key starters in the loss against Granville last Friday — Artie Douglas and Travis Baldwin were injured, and Brett Robberts had heat exhaustion. With those three gone, Granville did what good teams do — went for the kill. The Blue Aces turned a 13-12 lead into a blowout in a hurry.
