MOUNT VERNON — The Mount Vernon Yellow Jacket girls volleyball team keeps on rolling.

The Jackets continued their winning ways on Saturday, defeating Marion Harding in four games, 25-19, 25-17, 23-25, 25-15, in a nonconference match.

Mount Vernon mixed up its lineup throughout the match. The familiar starters were in place through about two games. By Game 3, head coach Erica Feick was moving players around.

For much of the third and fourth games, Taylor Boucher, Madi Montgomery and Melissa Hall were lined up along the net, with Abree Green, Alex Miglin and Kate Reynolds playing defense. By Game 4, the combo clicked, leading Mount Vernon on a 16-0 run that effectively ended the competitive portion of the match.
