CENTERBURG — The Centerburg Trojans remained on top of the Mid-Buckeye Conference with a decisive victory over the Loudonville Redbirds at home on Tuesday.

Centerburg had three players register seven or more kills in their 25-18, 25-19, 25-19 win.

The Trojans, which lost their first MBC match to Fredericktown but haven’t lost since, improved throughout the match. They struggled with communication and enthusiasm in Game 1, became more aggressive in Game 2, and played like a champion in Game 3. In a way, the match was a microcosm of the Trojans’ season.
