HOWARD — It’s the same old song for the East Knox Bulldogs soccer team.

Once again, they went through the motions in the first half, then they played with passion in the second half to pull out a 1-0 win over the visiting Marion Harding Presidents on Thursday evening.

“It sounds like a broken record but, again, we’re taking too long to get into the game,” said East Knox coach Geoff Green. “Our second halves have always been better than our first halves. Toward the end of the first half, we were doing better. I’m not quite sure why this is taking so long but we have always had a problem of getting into it and getting our knees dirty.”
