LOUDONVILLE — Loudonville built a 27-0 lead by halftime and was never seriously threatened by East Knox all night, winning 48-13.

With rain and wind pelting the Redbirds (3-5, 3-2) all night, the team abandoned its passing game for the most part. Loudonville rang up 429 total yards to only 147 for the Bulldogs (1-7, 1-4), with 359 of those yards coming on the ground. Nate Scarberry was 6-of-8 for 70 yards and two touchdowns at the quarterback spot for the Redbirds.

Loudonville had two touchdowns in the first quarter, the first with 10:10 to play on a 73-yard run, and the second on a 20-yard pass from Scarberry with 1:43 to play. The Redbirds added to the 14-0 lead with two rushing touchdowns in the second quarter, and held a 27-0 edge at the half.
