PATASKALA — Centerburg and Fredericktown’s girls cross country teams faced off at the Central District tournament on Saturday.
Both teams did so well, they’ll do it again next week.
The two teams qualified for the coming weekend’s Division III regional tournament.
The heavy rain over the past week had made the grounds at Watkins Memorial a muddy quagmire. Given the fact that most of the course was in the woods where the sun never reaches the ground, the race became more of a test of survival.
