Westerville Genoa won the event by the fifth-man tiebreaker over River Valley. Both teams shot 378, but Genoa’s fifth score of 109 was better than RV’s 119. Mount Vernon Black was third at 395, followed closely by Granville at 396. Mount Vernon’s Orange squad finished eighth at 464.

“I’m very pleased. It’s been an up and down season. We’ve been in the middle of the pack in our matches, so to finish third out of 11 is great,” said Mount Vernon coach Jeff Jarosz. “It should help our confidence with the way we played today.”

Conner Curry led the Black squad with two nine-hole scores of 47. His 94 overall score was good enough for the sixth best individual score.
