DANVILLE — The Danville Blue Devils are not a one-man band.

In Wednesday’s Division IV sectional final, Danville’s Austin Hazen scored 24 points and teammate Andy Payne totaled 19 points and 13 rebounds to lead the Blue Devils past Tree of Life Christian, 69-49.
Hazen made his presence felt early, scoring eight of Danville’s 17 first-half points. He dominated on the boards as well, converting three offensive rebounds into points.
It wasn’t the first big playoff performance by Hazen. He had 19 against Millersport last season.
