Those words by former Mount Vernon girls basketball coach Doug Savage were about former Yellow Jacket Niki DiGuilio. Now, DiGuilio’s game is about to reach the biggest stage in basketball.

The 2010 graduate of Mount Vernon High School will take the court Saturday at St. John Arena in Columbus when her Central Michigan Chippewas play in the first round of the women’s NCAA tournament.
