HOWARD — Apparently, the East Knox Bulldogs don’t take kindly to getting hit by pitches.
After Chad Lupher was struck by a Danville pitch with one out in the fifth inning, the Bulldogs erupted for six runs — most of which came off home runs by David Judson and Zach Hill.
Once the dust settled, Monday’s Mid-Buckeye Conference rivalry game had become an 11-2 rout in favor of the Bulldogs.
Lupher had started East Knox’s scoring in the third inning with a two-run blast of his own, scoring Taylor Moser.
