“I never really liked the wimpy sports,” said the East Knox High School senior.

Instead, Lashley has been more of a fan of sports that call for physical contact, such as football, wrestling and jiu-jitsu. This Saturday, he’ll be involved for the first time in arguably the most physical sport of all — Mixed Martial Arts.

Lashley will take on Garrett Sheppard in one of the opening fights in Saturday’s Extreme Adrenaline Championship event, held at the former Fredericktown High School.
