HOWARD — It seems like nothing can go wrong right now for the Fredericktown Freddies.
Fredericktown batted around twice in the third inning and looked virtually flawless in a 16-2 trouncing of Mid-Buckeye Conference foe East Knox in a run-rule game on Monday.
“We talked about staying mentally focused at the plate. And we did,” said Fredericktown head coach Tom Craze. “We had a pretty good night at the plate.”
For the Freddies, it was their eighth straight win, four of which by 10 runs or more.
For East Knox, it’s another reminder that, despite improvements this season, the road to respectability is a bumpy one.
