CENTERBURG — The Centerburg Trojans had just about all they could handle when the up-and-coming Fredericktown Freddies rolled into town on Tuesday.

It took nine innings, but the Trojans managed to pull out a badly needed win. In fact, you could say the extra-inning clash was an “Eppich” struggle.

Centerburg junior second baseman Logan Eppich scored on a wild pitch in the extra frame to lift their team to a 5-4 victory in Mid-Buckeye Conference softball action. It was an intense game throughout and it kept players, fans and coaches on the edge of their seats.
