SPARTA — Last season, the Highland Scots were shocked at home in the Division II sectional semifinals by Whitehall-Yearling. On Tuesday, they had a rematch a year in the making.
Whitehall didn’t repeat.
Not by a long shot.
Josh Gahm threw a no-hitter in his first career tournament game, walking none and striking out 11. Meantime, his Scots scored early and often, with Dalton Stambaugh driving in six runs as Highland cruised to a 9-0 victory.
