Dalton Stambaugh struck out nine batters but was lit up in the fifth and chased from the game. The Scots could not muster enough offense to catch up as they fell, 7-1, to St. Francis DeSales in Thursday’s sectional final.

DeSales pitcher Bryan Stopur allowed four hits in the complete game victory. He took much of the speed off his pitches late in the game which kept the Scots from adjusting.
