		<description><![CDATA[Unfortunately tap fees are something started by cities and towns that are now very common. Most developers and builders pay these costs plus put in all the sewer and water lines. Ultimately the municipality takes over these lines. The only thing that tap fees provide are added revenue and makes the cost of housing higher for the homeowner and reduces margins for the builder and or developer. Most municipalities do nothing in exchange for receiving these fees and it is one of the many reasons that the cost of housing has gotten so high in Ohio and other parts of the country.]]></description>
