Is the hospitalist program working?

MOUNT VERNON — Although it may be a bit too soon to tell, the hospitalist program at Knox Community Hospital seems to be working.

    I was hospitalized last year just before the 4th of July. This was my first experience with a ‘hospitalist’. Dr Green was just as caring as my personal physician. At first, I felt a little uncomfortable, but that soon ended. It was nice having a doctor in the hospital when you have a problem without them having to put in a call to locate your personal physician. I think it is working.
