MOUNT VERNON — Mount Vernon City Council approved a $13.674 million general fund budget for 2010 when it met in session Monday night. The total budget is $41.5 million.

    They’ve already run mose of the customers from the downtown area, why not let them finish the job. Soon, only tax exempt tenents will be left. Then what, tax Rolls Royce and Ariel out of town.

    I find it interesting that Fogle can single out COTC students and Alcove employees on the parking abuse — have they been the only ones that he has ticketed or whatever? I assume he knows that it is these people via computer access or is he stalking them when they leave their car? LOL

    Regardless — this parking issue will never go away — and for that matter — what is downtown to worry about people staying in a spot longer than 2 hours or more? Nothing that is attracting people enough to worry about more parking spaces for sure!!!!
