Not too long ago they went up for the MRDD levy. Yes, the school system had a renewal about a year ago, but that wasn’t a new tax. Hasn’t been a school increase since I’ve lived here.

Vernon schools. I am tired of paying large sums of property taxes to the school. Even though property values have dropped like a rock in the past few years, our taxes went up this time around. I called the Auditors office about this and had a line run on me that wasn’t funny. What it boils down to is that they can raise our taxes at will, and there’s nothing we can do about it. We CAN do something about it, vote NO! We are. BTW, renters you pay propety taxes too.
