Were You there John?Talking does help! It helps relieve the pressures of everyday life! I was there! I listened to each and everyone of the speakers. As a matter of fact I was one of the speakers, I will not reveal which one, but will say that certain peeps will sit back and complain and do nothing, when they can and have the ability to do everything to help out! To reach out in to the community and be an advocate for those who are less fortunate! Now as far as the hospital losing there psychiatric unit, well I don't think they could afford to staff it with good doctor's! I know I wouldn't go there !

I like panel discussions, they talk about problems, but that's about all that seems to be accomplished for most feel those in need have no economic value.

One only has to ask why the local hospital dropped their psychiatric wing for those who experienced a temporary emotional crisis. How many times has our government presented people who have encountered tramatic situations and done absolutely nmothing further to alliviate the sufferring other than to suggest they discuss the issue with a stranger on a suicide hotline.

Talking about stress doesn't solve the problem. It does make a bored elitist feel better, perhaps.
