Alcohol option on Fredericktown ballot

FREDERICKTOWN — Known historically as a dry town, Fredericktown does not have any place where it is legal to buy alcoholic beverages. That could change after the May election, if an option on the ballot is approved by village residents.

    if your gonna allow it they need to open it up to all gas stations, bars and grocery. why let the rip off grocery store monopolize the whole thing. let them all in or dont sell it in fredericktown. it takes approx 8 mins to get to a beer sale est so its pointless for them not to sell it. but thats my 2 cents.

    its about time!! tho it seems a bit unfair that it should only be fredericktown market but maybe it will open the door a crack….cant buy beer in fredericktown….but just knock on any door!
