What do mean take over? Your going to just take it away from the lady that owns it? Who has that power?

I played ball there in the early 60’s and it was a great park. Best maintained fields, restrooms, water, concession stands, and the best baseball in the city. We won the city tournament twice, and we won with our defence. I would like to see it maintained.

For years (when my son played ball there) the park was maintained by the baseball league. Volunteers mowed the lawn, etc. The only remedy I see is to take it over like Foundation Park. (Neither one is in the city limits). That way the children of that area can have the same advantage as everyone else. The other parks do not have to be maintained by Volunteers. Just my 2 cents worth.

The township does not own the park. It leases it for $1.00 a year. The township is not going to build bathrooms or anything else on property it does not own.

You guys thought of everything. Please accept my humble apologies.

It really doesn’t have a mailing address, but there is a map on the page.

Believe it or not, there are people who don’t know where Lamb Park is. How about including a street address in the article? That wouldn’t be hard.

I recently found out I have been driving by the park every time I visit my best friend! The Park does need some life! Also some lights! My friend also told me there is a lot of vandals that go in there and paint terrible words on buildings, this needs to be stopped. This park is for all persons! No Vandalism allowed!

Has anyone bought Lamb Park yet? Is it up for sale? Because if it is I would like to buy it and turn it into a water-slide park for the community. Of course with putt-putt golf for the families to enjoy.

Its my understanding this Park has no water or bathroom facilities. Also I read the article where people were asking for light poles and benches, so where is the problem? I for one have never visited this park, but will find the location and visit it. I do take interest and take pictures of all parks as a hobby. I for one don’t see any reason why they can’t build bathroom facilities like they have at FOUNDATION PARK. Take up a petition and present it, see what you come up with.
