We left Clinton township because of the outrageous water and sewer fees. When our adult children started to look for homes to buy, we reminded them of the grossly high rates. We also warn others when we know they are looking for a home to buy. It's too bad, because there are some nice homes for sale in the township. The high rates make it prohibitive to live there.

County sales tax collections for Feb. of this year are up considerably after 4 months of precipitous declines. This is one indication. And it's a question of chicken or the egg. If people are spending more then more jobs will follow. No business will hire more people when business is bad. Increased business revenue and confidence it will continue to increase will create jobs. Unless you want the gov't to create a lot of "make work" jobs.

Despite signs that the local economy is beginning to rebound??? Did you fall and bump your head? I haven't seen any job openings around here. The economy can't grow unless people have jobs. If a person hasn't the money to spend on products or services that local business's have to offer. There is no growth, there is no rebound. If your going to state a comment such as that. You better have your facts straight.
