MOUNT VERNON — By a 4-to-3 vote, City Council members committed funds over the next three years for restoration of the bridge at Foundation Park.

    No public monies should be used for this project. Take up private donations until you get enough to do this. Taxpayer money going to projects like this and the Woodward theatre is what leaves such a bad taste for taxpayers.

    leedy lane is the obligation…this is a improvement…and i agree with alumni!!

    City Council members, I think your priorities are sickening. Put this bridge in storage. Take the money and feed, clothe, house and provide medical care to your citizens in need during these tough times.
