Say what? Our legal system is built on precedent and stare decisis, that’s the heart and soul of common law. You can’t have “common law” without it. You would have to go to a civil law country (or Louisiana) if you want a different legal system.

If the decisions that the ohio supreme court have made lately is an indicator, such as, no drugs need be found to convict of trafficking, and, an officer does not need anything other than his eyes to cite you for speeding, then they should give this attorney a commendation for service exemplary of the Ohio State Bar Association, and given Senior tenure for his perpetuation of corruption in the communistic style of government we now find ourselves governed by. When I think of all the lives that were sacrificed for these clowns to exploit and use the american people, I just want to fly into a rage. Politicians, Lawyers, and religious fanatics have brought this wonderful country to ruin. These are not the same people we voted into office. WE NEED THEM GONE…NOW !!

This will be very interesting to watch closely in regards to everyones constitutional rights and whether common sense is still used in determining the legal issues in this country. The use of past precedence has skewered and maligned common law thus convoluting sensible judgments.
