I agree with you that there is other relevant news in the area. We had nine stories today and two image galleries. I put the “Courageous” story as the lead or “story of the day” as you stated. It’s been shared across Facebook and Twitter and it’s a part of a series of stories. I try to keep a series of stories in easy to get to places and since this was the final story in the series, it was bumped to the top.

I stand behind my decision to place this at the “top of the fold.”

I don’t see how this story can have any relevance to my community. I think it’s great that joe and marcie won a free trip but really. how does this fit into the overall picture of area news? we have sports, crimes, and other local activities that have more signifigant relevance then this. it states on here all comments should be relevant. I do agree. i just don’t agree that this story is more relevant to area news as a lot of othetr things going on today!
