FREDERICKTOWN — Initial hope that a Fredericktown building damaged by fire March 28 could be saved, will not be realized after all, according to the building’s longtime owner.

    It doesn’t look to good for downtown areas in most towns anymore. Might as well just maintain government buildings, a couple of law offices, a senior center, a soup kitchen,a homeless shelter and a blacksmith shop.
