		<description><![CDATA[when you make the comment &quot;we all sound racist but....&quot; that usually means that you are about to make a racist comment. 

I ask this question. If a radical christian church was terrorizing abortion clinics, killing doctors who perform abortions, burning buildings. destroying properties. Would we then be opposed to that said church building a place of worship right next to the place that it was terrorizing? 

I would say that we wouldnt. While i realize that these are very different scenarios, the point is that we view christianity differently because many believe that we are a christian nation. and many view islam as a religion that is in the way of christianity ruling the world. However we have the freedom of religion. Islam has its extremists just like christianity. Every organized religion has its demons. 

I see nothing wrong with a mosque going up a few blocks from ground zero. I think it actually shows how strong of a country we actually can become. that even though islamic extremists were the one that perpetrated the attacks on 9/11. that we can stand here almost ten years later and welcome a mosque to the area where such disaster happened. 

and honestly in 10 years, who will know that there is a mosque 2 blocks from the site.]]></description>
