I think it leaves the public in much more danger if the police let drunk drivers alone. Find a MADD mother and ask her. And it is also in the public interest that cabs be properly licensed, insured and maintained. a corrected story appears in today’s Mount Vernon News. The DUI charge (amongst others) as not connected to the suspension of Safe Cab. That was over the issue of not having any insurance for a period of time.

can’t the city just leave the taxi companies alone???? we all know they are that hard up for DUI money but dang. they keep a closer eye on them than ANY other business in town.
which puts the public in danger in my veiw.
