Sound ordinance violation if a stereo is heard at a distance greater than 5 feet?! Seriously?! Two arms lengths?! Wow. Danville is just getting more and more Communist.

Has anyone discussed these laws being unconstitutional? It seems an obvious limitation of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. It is a dread shame that any child would not have the freedom to go for a midnight stroll in the United States of America, without being harassed and malicously charged with a crime. The underlying problem here is laziness. We must be diligent in enforcing harse penalties on those who actually commit crimes, and stop allowing a few bad apples to limit the freedoms (unconstitutionally) of an entire population. How this is not common sense, or there is not vehement protest to such a law to force its overturn, is absolutely beyond understanding. It also signals a great loss of culture and heritage, as well as lack of patriotic will, amongst our citizens.
