i drove by there the other day, was surprised to see it. i’m not worried, looks like they took safety into account when they built it. i’d rather have them teach my kid gun safety so i know they aren’t going to go next door and shoot themselves…… keep up the fight, guys!

If you have children, would you really want to live next to such an ordeal? Or would you want to be on the receiving end of a bullet? What do you think this is doing to the houses that are close by concerning property value? Put yourselve’s in our shoes…. how would you feel if this dicision was made in your neighborhood?

Seriously, this is awesome! I live down the road and I think this is awesome. I mean, seriously, isn’t this America? Its the MacNichol’s land and they can do what they want with it. I’ve driven by it and it looks REALLY safe. They’ve got berms on three of the four sides. I’m not sure what everyone is afraid. It is commented above that the problem is that it is near the road — it doesn’t shoot AT the road. Also, they are running a training facility, not a public range… Personally, I think it is awesome and would love to hear more about what they are doing.

I think it’s great and as long as it’s safe as I’m sure it is and up to NRA spec’s no problem.
