Keeping Ohio dollars in Ohio? That is ridiculous. Last time I checked, an Ohio dollar spends the same in any state. It is about OSU keeping more money to fund the 36 other non-revenue sports. They can offer these “cupcake” schools 6 to $800,000 and kepp the rest of the gate.

i think it is rediculous. Any true fan could not enjoy winning by that much. That would be like an NFL team playing the Buckeyes. Of course the NFL team would kill them…even the Browns.

No problem. MAC schools are part of the upper tier football division. The games help OSU with tuning up and the MAC schools get a good pay day. What’s wrong with a win-win?

I think it’s a smart decision. It keep Ohio tax dollars in Ohio. It benefits smaller schools and promotes the MAC. My wife and I are Bowling Green graduates and we think it’s a great opportunity for BG to be able to play a team of Ohio State’s caliber.
