If people can comment on useless junk in life such as sex w/ anything that breathes, laying new sidewalks, lawns needing cut, ect. prayer most certainly is very important to many of us!
Things DO happen when you pray, IF you know how to pray. I’ve had good things happen right after praying that would make your skin crawl.
Many suicide attempts have been stopped when the person prayed for god to stop him if you really exists…
Prayer has strong influences on people, but sometimes it takes something special to happen in your life before you believe that there is a god.

If your asking to get rich or some stupidity like that your prayers arent going to be answered.God already knows your just trying to use him for your own advantage.

It has to be according to gods will such as help in enough $$ somehow to get food, or pay rent or work out your family problems due to your smoking away all the income.
These good, clean upright things are what god blesses, & sees in your heart you want help, & are willing to ask him for it.
I know some of you are getting mad right now, but I couldnt care less.
You keep talking about useles things in life….but my focus is on prayer, thats where I get my help from.
Have a good day, if I didnt ruin it too bad for ya’…….. but like I already said…….

There is nothing special about prayer. It’s a form of self-reflection, something that can also be achieved with meditation (religious or non-religious). The efficacy of prayer on the object of prayer has been tested and shown to be null, so it’s ridiculous to assert that prayer can alter anything but yourself, and even then it’s effect is no different than directed breathing exercises.
