MOUNT VERNON — The U.S. Postal Service will be making some changes at the Mount Vernon Post Office — among others — that are designed to eliminate duplication of efforts and increase the efficiency of mail delivery.

    I dont have a problem with our mail service… I just wish there was a way to stop all the junk mail, & advertisements. That would save tons of wasted sorting time,.. not to mention trips to recycling to get rid of papers.

    Dubina said the public will see no real change in the operation of the local post office.

    So the service will not improve.
