The company will hold a public open house in The Dan Emmett Conference Center on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. The meeting is open to impacted land owners along the route and the general public. KMC will be seeking easements along the route rather than trying to buy land.

The company is planning to hold these meetings in each of the nine counties through which the proposed pipeline would predominantly run. Certainly Knox county must be on the list for one of these meetings, but why hasn’t the MV News reported the details of this meeting? When is this meeting taking place? Where will this meeting be held?

The basic route seems to be in place but small changes have and mat still be made because of a variety of circumstances including environmental issues and topography issues. The meeting is open not just to property owners but the public at large. If anyone has concerns they should attend the meeting. decisions are not made by the smartest people. They are made by those who show up.

From what I read of the article the company doesn’t have any idea of who would be impacted either. You have to go to the open house to find out more.
