Law enforcement officials check out a property and residence on County Road 179 in Morrow County after a shootout occurred Thursday between a Morrow County Sheriff’s Deputy and the resident. Both men were taken to Grant Medical Center for their gunshot wounds.CHESTERVILLE — A shoot-out between a Morrow County Sheriff's Deputy and a resident of rural eastern Morrow County at about 1 p.m. Thursday resulted in gunshot wounds to both.

    We pray that Deputy Moore is able to make a full recovery, and for all who put their lives on the line to keep us safe.
    It is truly sad that those involved in drugs have so little regard for human life.
    With the mentality of these dopers, penalties need to be much harsher.
