Boner rediscovers long-lost passion

Mount Vernon’s Kim Boner was the first-place female runner at the Oil Creek Trail Runs recently in Titusville, Pa.MOUNT VERNON — A 20-year hiatus must have been a good thing. Mount Vernon's Kim Boner had been a high school cross country runner at Cardington in the mid-1980s but didn't pursue running after that, at least not for a while.

Fire assessment moves forward

Main St. The group is assessing the remnants of the old Kresge building in order to determine the cause of a fire that destroyed it Monday morning.
