MOUNT VERNON — A Knox County grand jury indicted a Mount Vernon woman on charges of aggravated vehicular homicide and aggravated vehicular assault following an accident on Aug. 4, where she was is accused of texting while driving.

    Thats why I say your car is not a phone booth so wait to use your phone till your car is at a complete stop and not moving.

    Had she steered to the right of the stopped vehicle, she may have avoided a crash altogether.
    Even had she crashed into a motionless object, (excepting a human), the crash horsepower of her stop would have been far less severe than the head-on crash.
