One Response to “Shepherd hopes for ruling by end of year”

Nice, it looks like Shepherd is delaying this to keep his billing going to the school. Millstone probably has the same incentive. Shepherd said he was going to rule quickly after the closing statements, then he holds it open for months, then Millstone finds a ruling within the last couple of weeks and we now have to wait until the end of the year for a ruling. What happens if any other info, variables, comments, or circumstances happen between now and then? These guys are nuts in my opinion and they have the school board right where they want them, in their hip pocket – they control the timing, so they keep their meters running. The taxpayers shoud revolt over this. Never, never, never should we support a tax levy with this board in place. Justice delayed is justice denied. The board should control the legal expenses, not the attorneys – silly board, try some risk/reward analysis, or at least try using some common sense. When an attorney controls your process, you have lost, even if you win.
