To clarify, we did post several announcements about local schools providing breakfasts and programs for Veteran's Day. Here is a list of those: Veterans to be honored Mount Vernon Middle School to honor veterans Highland High School to honor veterans Knox County Career Center to honor veterans

well david i e-mailed the mount Vernon paperthis morning to a reliable staff member and got a reply about Mount vvernon not doing so so that is why i replyed, so you see Mount Vernon staff news is not efffcient enough or up to dated on that subject or she would have told me so.Right? I am not being smart but that is the fact from the news.
An another thing alot of people do not have internets or get the paper.
So as i say the staff made a mistake not I

Actually, Pamela, there have been ads ran in this paper and on the internet about free meals for our veterans.

Local schools are providing free breakfasts and having programs that honor our veterans.

I think you should read all the information before you saying Mount Vernon isn’t doing anything.

I thank your father and the countless other fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, aunts and uncles, cousins and all of those that have served.

I live in Youngstown, Ohio now. I orIginally from Mt. Vernon,Ohio.

In Youngstown , which is a now of need in many many ways still provide meals (FREE) for the Veterans on Veterans Day from Restaurants, Fast Food and other vacilities. They also have some delivers (the people that can not get out cause of age)
I myself have a DAD THAT IS A VETERAN AND IF I WERE THERE I WOULD HONOR HIM BY THIS GIFT OF A MEAL. HE HAS ALZHEIMERS FOR 9 YRS AND CANNOT GET OUT. IS THIS A WAY OF SHOWING OUR VETERANS. ?? CANNOT ONE SMALL TOWN LIKE MOUNT VERNON CONSIDER THIS GIFT????
