FREDERICKTOWN — A mile west of Fredericktown Thursday afternoon, the hopes of many county residents were replaced with despair as the bodies of Howard residents Tina Herrmann, 32; Stephanie Sprang, 41; and Herrmann’s son, Kody Maynard, 11, were found.

MOUNT VERNON — Knox County Sheriff David Barber talked to the media this afternoon, requesting continued help from the community to fill in the timeline of the activities which unfolded last Wednesday when 13-year-old Sarah Maynard was abducted from her Apple Valley home.

MOUNT VERNON — For the first time in the week-long search for three missing Howard residents, Knox County Sheriff David Barber admitted a receipt was found during the investigation that shows suspect Matthew Hoffman purchased a tarp and trash bags at the Mount Vernon Walmart.
