MOUNT VERNON — State Rep. Margaret Ann Ruhl was at last week's Mount Vernon Board of Education meeting and presented the district with a formal legislative commendation for Twin Oak and Wiggin Street Elementary schools being designated "Excellent with Distinction."

If either parent is under the age of 18, the signature of a parent or guardian is necessary for each of the baby’s underage parents.
