The National Weather Service in Cleveland has issued a freezing rain advisory, which is in effect from Midnight to 8 a.m. Thursday.

The chances for rain will increase tonight, mainly after midnight across the area as warm moist air aloft moves in from the southwest. At the surface however, temperatures are expected to fall below freezing overnight. The temperature will rise above freezing around or just after dawn Thursday however until that happens, any rain that falls will fall as freezing rain.

Ice accumulations are expected to be light however untreated surfaces will likely become slick with a glaze of ice.
